  • How can I transfer money from a South Afrcan bank account to my Bunq account

Hi,

I'm trying to transfer money from my South African account, but it says that it only supports cards from the EU. So how can I transfer money to my Bunq account from my South African account?

      If you are using bank transfer it will go via SWIFT. You need to ensure the payment is sent in the same currency as your bunq sub account. Usually EUR unless you have a local currency sub account.

        @thijsoost#267835 Can I receive ZAR (rand) currency to my ZAR BUNQ sub-account? Or must the currency be in euro?

          @New-Aquamarine-Bear-1707447452#295062 You can only receive money in the same currency as your sub-account. So an EUR account can only receive EUR transactions, a ZAR sub-account can only receive ZAR transactions. Does that answer your question?
