Hi all 🙋♂️ I purchased an ebook the other day via PayPal, which is linked to my bunq checking account. Just now I got the direct debit popup from my bunq app. I noticed that the “transaction type” has automatically been set to “recurring”. What consequences does this have and, more importantly, how can I correct it — as this is clearly a one-time payment? 😊 Thank you so much, Lucas

This is not really something relevant to you as a customer. Different merchants will bill you in different ways, for PayPal it probably makes the most sense to use a recurring direct debit. It does not mean that your payment is actually recurring.
