Mitchell 🤯 Best way would be to contact support for this, they will reply faster and directly give you an answer! Go to https://go.bunq.com/link/support.
Small tip, I called my cards "Maestro" and "Mastercard", saves the day sometimes👌.
It's just bad if you don't know this beforehand. I support this feature request.
I can see why people would want this feature. But I see some complications from a user experience point of view. bunq wants to keep the app as simple as possible and having the in-app name differ from the actual description on the card might lead to confusion.
W. Janson-Korhorn I agree but I wasn't even aware what the description is doing at all. Why should I call a mastercard mastercard in the description? It is already a mastercard and we should be able to distinguish those cards in the app views where we have to assign them or get information which card is assigned to which account. Im fine if this is not possible in the app but then the support needs to be able to do this.
Cards without any description on the card (left empty when ordering) are called "bunq card" in the app though, perhaps at least in this case it could be allowed to enter a name at a later time.
Jonathan
Same as I had in mind, at least for the 'bunq-card'... Thumbs up (or hands up 🙌) for this Jonathan!
bunq should add this!
Agreed
Yes, I need this. I didn't know the name on the card was used in the app. Now I have 3 cards with the same description...
E Me too😂
I was also looking for this! When I started with bunq I didn’t pay enough attention to the name on the card.
Same
I also would like to have this feature. As I ordered the cards I didn’t know the the description on the card is also the label i the app.
+1
yeah a def. +1!
As the card description is printed on the card (or not if left empty), the description or name can't be changed. This is what I asked last week and got this answer.
Would be nice if the name is changeable.
So: +1
