How sad, especially the reply from bunq: I have asked the BUNQ in my own portal the following question:
Question "Regarding the interest, what would a banker do? I get today 08/10/2023 3% on my saving account with the ING in Germany. I have opened an Spar brief account. Should I leave the savings with you (bunq) for 1,65 % or a 3% with the ING Germany? I think of re-transfering it back to ING to get more. BUT I LOVE to have it spread in more locations.
Last time the question: why do I get half the Dutch saving interest compared to those in Holland, and why does the ING has double so much interest as you pay? Can you please forward this to Ali, and see what can be done? I am Dutch living in Germany, why do I get less than the Dutch living in Holland? Please let me stay with you, or I will move the savings back to ING."
GUESS The answer: "Thanks for getting back to us and for letting us know Smily" Xxx bunq support."
I am not a banker, but Ali is for sure not interested in persons using bunq as a deposit, or saving bank. If this is the case, why bother with bunq and savings? I have opened the Sparbrief in 3 minutes free of charge and keep the saving there for 12 months's. Sad that bunq support is so negative on savings. If I retransfer my deposit, its because I feel not taken seriously by bunq.
If I were a German citizens I would find much and better deals today. If Ali wants to expand in Germany he can not do this with a 'Special promotional 3 month's interest' from just 2,55% I would place the low interest rate more seriously on your agenda bunq, please.!
