  • Invoice scanning whishes

Just now I was pleasantly surprised by the invoice scanning feature! Tried to open a pdf attachment f from Gmail and apparently Bunq is registered as an app that can open pdf files!

The invoice was scanned almost perfectly, but the net amount was shown instead of the amount including VAT. Don't know if that was a one time miss, but it made one thing obvious: checking the scan would be so much easier if Bunq would show the original next to the filled out payment screen. Now I have to manually switch back to Gmail, open the attachment again - only now in a real pdf viewer and then switch back and forth between the two.

Additional wish: it would be nice if the invoice was automatically attached to the payment description, without having to use the paperclip button (and of course support for attaching pdfs is a must have for that feature)

@Derk-Grey-Butterfly#44181 Might be because it's a pdf. I scanned a Acceptgiro and the photo was attached to the actual payment. But this was of course an image rather than a pdf.

This feature seems to be broken now on iOS. If the bunq app isn’t open in the background it doesn’t even fire. If the app is open, it doesn’t find any details.

@Jorgen-Violet-Panther#53257 Are you on the latest version of our app? I just double checked multiple invoices and for me all seems well. Could you otherwise reach out to Support with the specific invoice you're trying to scan? Then we can double check. Thanks! 🙃

@Djoeri#53262 Yes I’m on the latest version
