• Cannot verify phone number (and thus not open an account)

I have been waiting for a reply from support for almost a week now.
My problem:

I tried to join Bunq by inserting my phone number. I got several text messages with a verification code, with which I could not do anything since the registration/login would fail.

I then tried signing up using my email address, which went perfectly fine.
It then said I needed to verify my phone number, but upon trying to send the text message, I now get an error saying: The maximum amount of sending attempts has been reached. Please try again later.

Because of this, I now have an account where I cannot do anything.
Like I said, I reached out to support straight away from within the app (Saturday evening) but have yet to get any response from their end. (Which makes me wonder if I even should consider Bunq as my bank, since they are unable to help me at all)

Did anyone here have the same experience and know how to fix this?
Also, I know it is holiday time, but saying I will get a support response within a day whereas it actually takes way longer already is NOT ok.

      That's nice, but the person in the other thread was apparently helped individually. Since I'm already waiting for a week, I'd like some help as well.

          But no response for over 5 days! Is that normal? This other guy was helped within an hour.

                Exact same thing has happened to me. Did they resolve it? Could you explain the fix please?
