This release comes with 28 improvements. A full list can be found at milestone 0.9.6

  • Upload new images for your accounts and profile images.
  • View and create new CVC codes for your cards.
  • Support the new virtual mastercard.
  • Quickly assign accounts to cards.
  • Remember the scroll position when clicking on events from the dashboard.
  • Filter events by card(s).
  • Implemented IndexedDb for higher performance storage. Should improve the performance for users with high amounts of events.
  • Wildcard access is now easier to use and no longer requires an API call to get the user's current IP.
  • Cryptography is done more efficiently.

      Hi Gregory,

      Great stuff you're building but I have a issue after adding a category.

      I keep getting the error-message;
      We received the following error while sending a request to bunq:
      You entered an invalid code too many times. Please wait 10 minutes before trying again.
      Response-Id: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

      When I logout and want to login again the passage appears on login. Do you have any idea? Is there someway I can help debugging this ?

      I want to use the category's more and more so it would be great if I won't keep getting this error.
      (i use the latest release by the way)

        @Gregory#75552 Ik wil de app steeds meer gebruiken maar werkte toch een paar issues of settings die niet (meer) werkte.
        Is er een manier dat ik je kan contacten om de punten door te nemen wat niet lijkt te werken ??

          @Gregory Is the use of a password actually compulsory? I have bunqDesktop set to work with oAuth so its read-only. If someone manages to get in to my machine I have a lot more pressing issues than someone seeing my account balances haha. So as it is read-only anyway thanks to oAuth and my computer is password protected (and the disk is fully encrypted): I actually find it more inconvenient to have it passworded than that I think it adds significant security gains.

            @LH-Black-Wolf#77512 You can skip setting a password when you log in. It is possible to change the current password on the settings page but completely removing it is not possible when there are already one or more API keys stored in bunqDesktop. This is also updates the encryption keys for the all the API keys which were stored using the current password.

            However if you want to go without a password you can simple click logout on the Login page or the logout button on the dashboard at the top right. Both will de-select your current API key and the login screen will go from looking something like this:

            But that does mean you will have register new API keys or manually enter the existing ones again.

                FIrst of all thank you for your work.
                I have a mess with the category and the category filter, it looks that nothing works. For exaample I selcet to exclude a category and some random trasnactions disappear. Instead the account and card filter works properly. I've add some new category, and I haven't understood the "priority" field, and maybe I did some mistake.

                Another problem is that I don't see some transation that I've done and that appear in the official bunq app.
                Do you have any suggest for these very general issues?

                  @Vincenzo-Green-Wolf#81590 Clicking the small refresh icon at the top left should get all events. In the settings you can set it to always sync automatically once on startup aswell.

                  The categories and filters are being worked on and should be much better in the next update.

                      Even een vraagje. Kan ik bunq desktop ook gebruiken vanaf mijn iphone xs max of is het echt alleen mogelijk via een laptop/ tablet etc?

                        @Haldun#85599 zoals de naam wellicht doet vermoeden is bunq Desktop alleen voor desktop machines. Een enkel OS zal wellicht ook op je portable devices draaien, maar voor je iPhone zul je gewoon de officiële bunq app moeten gebruiken. 🙂

                          Ik probeer een "alleen lezen" connect te maken. Deze feature is uit de bunq app gehaald, vroeger was het dan wel nog mogelijk via bunq desktop maar nu krijg ik een foutmelding. Is het nog mogelijk om een "alleen lezen" connect te maken via bunq desktop?

                                @Sander#86391 Ik heb het verkeerd begrepen denk ik. Ik dacht dat ie een "read-only" verbinding wilde maken met bunqDesktop, maar ik gok dat het ergens anders over gaat? :P
