In addition to allowing a mixed combination of percentages and fixed amounts likes suggested here (https://together.bunq.com/d/58018-suggestion-sorting-fixed-amounts-and-a-percentage-of-whats-left) I would suggest a third option:
Please allow to auto sort an amount (0 to set-max) to a sub-account based on the amount that is already there.
In other words: for this subaccount, we don't want a fixed 200 euros sorted to subaccount X and also not 10% of a number that we don't control, we want subaccount X to be topped up... UP to a number we assigned.
- So if 30 euro is left in fuel sub-account, auto-sort 70. Not 100, not x%.
- So if sub-account Y has reached its 1000 assigned level, do not auto-sort anymore, until next time, perhaps after I have spent an amount.
- So if sub-account Z has 500/1000 in it, normally 500, but sort-maximum of 300 was set, so sort 300. Next time/month, sort 200 to get it to 1000/1000. After that, it's done. Move down the auto-sort list.
The current Auto-Sort order still determines the priority.
Percentage and fixed can be useful in combination, so it is important to support mixed rules.
Extra:
- Don't make auto-sort a hover-window. I do not want to loose my work while configuring. I might need to check something inside bunq elsewhere.
- Allow me to set a transaction description. (Simple win :))
- Auto-sort types: Fixed, Percentage, Dynamic-goal-based, Remainder, {Assume existence of more types}.
- Show a simulated graph of what will happen with the current rules so I can envision what will happen.
(If I have suggested something that is already possible. Please let me know so and where and how I could have known that if that applies.)
