For some time now, when you have a direct debit request, the corresponding sub-account (IBAN) is not always correct. I always have to search for the correct sub-account for that payment. A bunq employee told me that most people like it that way because bunq selects the sub-account by similar payments. But when I give permission to any company to send me the direct debit, it is for that IBAN and not a different one.
Bunq's solution for "my problem" is to use automaticly payments for direct debits. But for me it was one of the features from bunq which I really liked that I can confirm/deny the direct debit (and also make sure enough money is on the sub-account). And now it is broken for me, costs me way more time to do my fincance....
My question to other bunq-users is, who uses direct debits and likes this "feature" of automaticly select an other sub-account than the one that was the original destination?
