How can I turn a Savings Account into a Bank Account?

If you experience any difficulties withdrawing your funds or if you want faster access to your savings - you can convert one of your (Joint) Savings Accounts into a regular Bank Account! This can be done once per month. Keep in mind that converting a regular Bank Account into a Savings Account isn’t possible and that you’ll have to create a new Savings Account.

Note: When you convert a Savings Account into a normal Bank Account, you will stop receiving MassInterest for that Savings Account.

How to turn a Savings Account into a regular Bank Account?

Go to Home
Select the Savings Account you want to convert
Tap on Settings (⚙️)
Select ‘Convert to Bank Account’
Confirm

Select the Joint Savings Account you want to convert
Tap on Settings (⚙️)
Select ‘Convert to Joint Account’
