We're aware that a few of our Android users are experiencing some issues when trying to add their cards to their Google Wallet due to an error. We appreciate those who have brought this to our attention! Rest assured, our team is actively working on a solution 🛠️
How can I check if this is the case for me?
You can check if you’re experiencing the same issue by following the steps below:
- Go to 🏠 Home
- Tap on Cards
- Select the card you want to add
- Select Add to Google Pay
- Tap on Add to Google Pay > Continue
- Personalize the card 🌈
- Fill in your info at Google!
- Receive an error message saying “Can't complete setup for contactless payment. To resolve this, you'll need to contact your bank. You can still pay with this card on Google and across other apps and sites.”
