I have a case with Bunq at the moment with which I am NOT happy! At the beginning of December I took out a free trial of software for my Apple Mac with Apple, I have 7 days to decide if it was what I needed. Within the 24hrs I knew it wasn't and I cancelled. Apple promptly replied and said I would not be charged but had the remaining period to use the software. The following day the software manufacturer sent an email telling me they were sorry to me me go. For internet purchases I only keep a certain amount of money in the account, 7 days later they attempted to withdraw the cost of the software but it was declined; I blocked the supplier on the banking app. On the 20th December at 6.50am I transferred money into the account, by 7.05am it was gone. Bunq authorised a preauthorisation for the software. I raised a dispute within 5 minutes.
Bunq have asked for everything proof of dispute with supplier, cancellation, emails, screen shots... the list goes on.
The latest update is the will get back to me by 4th April. Bunq have not come back to me, I have to go and check it on the app.
When I now look at the dates of the transactions on the Bunq statements, they differ; but how can they? They are a bank they don't change timelines. However I have photographic evidence which cannot be changed plus of course there is a little thing called metadata.
Since then, it has left poor taste in my mouth, regarding this bank. I have cleared balances and moved them else where banks do have a very poor image. However 116 days is too long.
