Again in summary my goal is the following:
I want to be able to create independent sub-accounts per category, in my case public transport, therefore I have for each of my accounts (business and personal) created a "public transport" category "Openbaar vervoer" in dutch.
Both of my cards (personal and business) have auto-select I like to keep it that way.
Now when I pay with my business card I want the transaction to be deducted from my business sub-account categorised as public transport.
Now when I pay with my personal card I want the transaction to be deducted from my personal sub-account categorised as public transport.
What I do not want is the following:
IF there is a sub-account with category public transport ONLY in let's say my business account and I decide to use my personal card to pay for public transport. Do not link the transaction to my business sub-account but default it to main as my personal environment does not have a public transport sub-account.
Do not mix business and personal accounts for auto-select. This is currently happening and I have experienced this when I was on holiday. Attached a transaction which is payed with my personal card, but deducted from my business sub-account.
The image shows:
- sub-account: this is set to the business sub account OV kosten
- Category: custom category I created named "openbaar vervoer" (public tansport)
- Card: card that has been used -> which is a personal card.
Then what I notice (I send a video to support too):
IF I create a custom category let's say "Openbaar vervoer" in my personal account AND then create a sub-account, enable easy-budgeting for that sub-account then link it with my custom category. It works! I see it is an easy budgeting sub-account. Awesome!
But then: I decide to go to my business account create also a custom category there named "Openbaar vervoer" (remember if I create one in my personal account it does not show in my business, WHICH IS GOOD)
Ok.. custom category has been created for my business account. Now I create a sub-account (in my business account) enable easy budgeting and then link the custom category just created. I am not sure if it is because the custom categories have for personal and business the same name but what happens then is the following:
Easy budgeting is enabled for my business sub-account BUT is then disabled for my personal account. It seems that if I create a category named x in my personal account and another one in my business account also named x, it does not allow me to use them both independently?
