How can I activate my Travel Insurance?
You're automatically covered by the Travel Insurance included in your Easy Bank Pro XL plan. This means you don't need to manually activate the insurance.
By accepting bunq's Terms and Conditions when you upgrade to or start with the Easy Bank Pro XL plan, you also accept the Terms and Conditions of the Travel Insurance. This makes the process seamless and easy, ensuring you can enjoy your travels with peace of mind, knowing you're covered.
How do I file a claim?
Claims can be submitted in the following ways:
You can access the claim by following the steps below in the bunq app:
- Go to the ✈️ Travel tab
- Tap on “You’re protected”
- Select “File Insurance Claim”
- Follow the flow
Make sure to submit your claims within 30 days of an incident. We recommend submitting a claim as soon as possible and including any relevant supporting documents as soon as you can.
You can also complete the online claim form on Qover's website here. If you're unable to use this form, Qover's services are available from Monday to Friday at +31 20 808 0723, from 09:00 to 17:00.
How can I see my policy number?
You can see the starting date of your insurance and its policy number by following the steps below:
- Go to the ✈️ Travel tab
- Tap on "You're Protected Here"
- See the information on the screen ✅
What should I do in an emergency situation?
In the event of a severe illness or accident: If you suffer a severe illness or accident requiring emergency medical assistance, your first point of contact should be International SOS at +31 20 808 0723. They are equipped to provide a range of medical and travel assistance services.
Treatment as an outpatient: for minor illnesses and injuries, we advise you to cover the treatment costs upfront. Upon returning from your trip, you can file a claim with Qover to seek reimbursement.
How do I file a complaint?
Together with Qover, we aim to provide a high-class service at all times. However, if you're dissatisfied with our service, you can file a complaint with Qover. You can do this by filling their form available here.
Can I request a travel certificate?
You can apply for your travel certificate through Qover's portal here.
