We're always looking for ways to make your banking experience better and more efficient. With this in mind, we have an important update regarding our partnership with Wise.
Starting from now, we're changing how we process payments with Wise. We're introducing one-time FX payments which will be provided by bunq. Here's what this means for you:
No More Onboarding with Wise: You no longer need to go through the process of onboarding with Wise. This means one less step for you to worry about when making transactions in foreign currencies.
Transactions Will Not Appear on Your Wise Account: If you have your own Wise account, please note that transactions initiated from the bunq app will no longer appear on your Wise account. All your transactions will be managed directly through bunq, making it easier for you to keep track of your payments.
Contact bunq Support for Assistance: Should you encounter any issues with your transactions, you won't need to call Wise support. Instead, our dedicated bunq support team will be ready to assist you. You can reach out to us directly through the bunq app.
Keep in mind that as we transition to one-time FX payments, some currencies may temporarily not be available. We're working hard to ensure these become available again really soon! You can see the available currencies as of now here ✅
