All Dutch people are probably familiar with the 'Tikkie' app. Even though I can send payment requests with Bunq, I still use Tikkie for important payment requests. Why?
The Bunq app does not have one single place where you can see all your payment requests from all your accounts and see how often it has been paid. I can open the Tikkie app and instantly see the status of all payment requests.
The problem is that payment requests are often not paid immediately and some people forget to pay at all. Tracking this information in the Bunq app is currently a pain, because I have to scroll through the history of my account. It already happened a couple times that I sent a payment request only to find out much later that it had never been paid.
My suggestion is:
- One place where you can view all payment request
- For each request you can see: the amount, how often it has been paid, the status (active, expired), creation date
This would be the most simple version that would already help me and probably a lot of others.
Now, some optional features would be:
- Give payment requests a name (also show the name in the payment request overview)
- Optional step on payment request creation: specify how many people should pay (so you can remember how many people were supposed to pay in case you forget)
