From the tricount app, you can easily receive money back and make repayments, all through a simple request link. Simply connect tricount with your bank account.

Important Note: This feature is available only in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium for now! We’re working around the clock to make this available for everyone soon. If you’re missing a bank or other banking service in your country - feel free to let us know by filling in the in-app survey ✅

How can I connect my Bank Account?

  1. Go to 👤 Profile
  2. Click on “Connect Bank Account” under IBAN
  3. Click 🟦 Connect Bank Account
  4. Enter your bank account details and follow the flow
  5. Done ✅

How can I share my request link?

  1. Go to the 💲 Requests tab
  2. Tap on Request
  3. Fill in the amount needed and tap on Next
  4. Write the reasoning in the description box
  5. Share the link through the desired app

Another way to share your request link is by following these steps:

  1. Go to the 🏠 tricounts tab
  2. Go to the tricount in question
  3. Select Balances
  4. Tap on the tile with your request information
  5. Tap Request
  6. Share the link through the desired app

How can I pay through a request link?

  1. Open the message and tap on the link
  2. Choose the payment method
  3. Follow the flow based on the method used
  4. Done ✅

How can I unlink my Bank Account?

  1. Go to 👤 Profile
  2. Click on IBAN
  3. Click on Unlink Bank
  4. Done ✅

Is there any fee?

Payment options such as Bancontact, iDEAL, and Sofort are currently free of charge.

However, when someone reimburses you via Credit Card, a fee of 2.5% is applied. This means if you request €100 and your friend pays €100 using a Credit Card, you will only receive €97.5 due to this fee. We're committed to reducing this fee in the future.
