In order to keep Bunq users and our account SAFE against fraud. I like to suggest an extra safety step for NEW devices. Like a Google Authenticator code or even a simple SMS text code. Wich makes it more difficult or almost impossible for scammers to acces your account. Like this past year scammers were able to acces accounts of multiple Bunq users by bypassing the AI security. I love Bunq, I like to use it, Lets make it more safe for us.

Panagiotis SMS security codes are very unsafe, so let's not use them!

If you want to add a new device, you have to reverify yourself using your passport or identity card + camera. This sounds safe to me!

Scammers were able to access people's money because they logged in on their own, already verified, device by tapping a link in a scam email/sms

yes i know but still i would feel safer if then a google authenticator code is applied to new devices, even if people clicked a link they would still not be able to add a new device without the autenticator code. i never click link but since all phising scammers are at bunq users, i think an extra authenticator code wouldnt hurt anyone

Does anyone experience logging to a new device then all old verified devices all get logged out? I can only have one active device now and maybe because I switched my device now my account is under review for a week. Very frustrating….

Alan You can only be logged in at one device at a time. That doesn't mean you can't use bunq on multiple devices. You just get logged out on device A if you login on device B

When you install the bunq app on a new device, you have to reverify your account (this is a security measure to make sure it's you logging in on a new device)
