  • [SUGGESTION] Enhancement for SEPA instant

It would be nice if you could add a button on a transaction if i want to this transaction to be executed as SEPA instant or not. If I enable SEPA instant, it should check if the receiving Bank is actually able to handle SEPA instant and if not, the app should warn the user.

Sometimes i want to transfer money quickly and want to be sure it arrives on time. The bunq App should help me with than by making it more transparent what i can expect.

Thank you.

Nancy changed the title to [SUGGESTION] Enhancement for SEPA instant.

A "Force Sepa Instant" switch would be nice, so that if SEPA Instant is not available at the moment, the switch is grayed out or the transfer gets canceled

Yes. C24 Bank is doing that in a very good way. Its enabled by default but when its not working, they show you an alert and you have to disable SEPA instant. This kinda gives more control when you need it.
I also could imaging that this could be feature, which could be enabled/disabled by the user. Maybe some people just dont care at all but some do.

I completely agree with this suggestion and fully support it. Here’s why I believe it’s important:

Having the option to enable SEPA Instant directly within the transaction interface, along with a real-time check of the receiving bank’s ability to handle SEPA Instant payments, would significantly enhance the user experience. It ensures transparency and allows users to make informed decisions about their transfers, especially when timing is critical.

This feature would not only save time but also provide peace of mind, knowing that funds will reach their destination promptly or being warned if SEPA Instant isn’t available for the recipient. Such a capability aligns perfectly with the modern expectation of fast, reliable, and user-friendly banking services.

This is a feature I’d love to see implemented, and I’m giving my vote to it!
