When you make an international transfer the fee for the transaction is displayed before you confirm the payment. This fee is directly included in the amount transferred, so there are no hidden costs.
When will my international transaction arrive?
The estimated arrival time of an international transaction depends on two main factors:
- The country you're sending money to - Transaction times may vary if the country you're sending money to observes a national holiday.
- The time you initiate the transfer - One-time FX payments are processed during normal banking hours.
Why is bunq's fee lower than traditional bank fees?
Weβre able to offer lower fees because it avoids international wire transfers, which can often come with significant costs. When you send money through bunq, the funds never actually leave the originating country.
