  • [Suggestion] Adding categories to the export statements.

Right now, when exporting statements, the category of each transaction is not shown on the exported statements.

Since each transaction by default gets put into a category by Bunq, you’d think that it shouldn’t be difficult to add the category to each transaction on the exported statements statement.
The request to show the category for each transaction on the exported statement is more than 2,5years old. It is probably one of the most requested features and is probably requested multiple times by different people over the course of years.

2.5 years ago, the reply from Bunq to this request was to pull the category via the API. Nothing has changed all these years.

Don’t you think it’s time to implement this feature a.s.a.p.?

      We got really excited about categories, because they would save us loads of time every month - if they are included with the statement export. Categories are poinless otherwise.
      People have been asking since 2022. What's the situation here Bunq?
