Until now, when i send a payment request, it can be paid by the recipient either by iDEAL or SOFORT. My german bank for example is not supported by SOFORT, so I would not be able to pay requests. Also i thing SOFORT is not nice to use, so i would rather like to do a normal SEPA transaction. This could work as following:
The request shows my account's IBAN and a specific code, which the sender has to include in the transaction description. By using this code, bunq can match the payment to my request.
If you don't want to expose the account IBAN, bunq can create a universal IBAN and do the same request matching using an identifier in the payment description.
This feature would make using payment requests so much more useful for me, because SOFORT payments are not nearly as popular as iDEAL payments might be for you in the netherlands.
