We’ve rolled out a new update to our app that includes small new improvements and features that Make Life Easy.

iOS

What's new ✨

• We no longer unnecessarily ask for microphone access during ID verification.
• If you don't have enough money on your account to cover your invoice, we'll automatically switch you to our free plan instead of freezing your account.
• The Apple Watch bunq app is no longer be available.

Android

What's new ✨

• You can now receive updates about maintenance and incidents without logging in to the bunq app, so you're always informed.
• If you don't have enough money on your account to cover your invoice, we'll automatically switch you to our free plan instead of freezing your account.

What's fixed 🛠️

• We've fixed a bug that required you to close your Joint Accounts before switching to bunq Free.
