• iOS 11 notification bubble

I’m running iOS 11 and I’ve just gotten notifications that an automatic debit has been accepted. Now after checking it in the app it the bubble with the numbers goes away. However on iOS 11 it stays. I have to open and force close the app a couple of times to clear the bubble.

Is this a known problem? Cheers!

I am on 11 now too and I did run into a "1" badge that wouldn't disappear today. I eventually got rid of it by logging out of the app completely a couple of times -and logging in on a spare phone too in the meantime to see if I got the badge there too, which I didn't - so I'm not sure what fixed it exactly in the end. I'll report back if I get any more sticky badges or a more precise workaround to get rid of them.

Hi 👋 thank you for reporting!

      Yes it‘s a known issue.

As iOS is still in beta it might be a bug on Apple‘s side. We will of course fix this with the Release Candidate of iOS 11 if the issue persists.

A workaround that should also work is logging out and in again 😉 (that‘s how i „fix“ it currently 😛)

And let us know if you notice more issues regarding iOS 11 and in general. It‘s always appreciated!

In case anyone was wondering 'Hey, that Goergisn guy really knows what he's talking about. Does he work at bunq?!'

I can confirm he does 🌈

Yes logging out and back in did do the trick. Will keep doing that for now and we’ll see 👍

Seems like it's resolved after logging out and back in. Since then all notifications bubbles disappeared when opening the app. Thought you might wanna know

Confirmed, whether is was the new version of the bunq app, a change in the latest iOS beta, or simply the logging out... it seems to be pretty much fixed now 😎

Apparently beta 9 fixed it 😛. Can you confirm by telling which versions iOS you run currently?

iOS 11 b9 running here. Problem still exists, no fix as of yet!

I’ve been cheering to early. For two days now I have a notification bubble with 2 items. Logging out and even forgetting my account doesn’t get rid of the bubble. New notifications do add to the number and opening the app does decrease the number again, yet a 2 keeps staying there (even comes back after logging in again)...

Small update. I had completely removed the bunq app and reregistered my phone. After registering the notification bubble showed the 2 notification count again. Seems like somehow the bunq servers still think I have two notifications... once logged out they’re gone, after logging back in they’re back 😥

Any update on this? The recent app update (last week) didn’t solve the 2 notifications bubble on iOS for me yet 🤔

                          Hey guys!

Having the lastest bunq app update might fix this, not all notification bubbles are fixed however. We'll keep working! 💪

Issue is still existing with bunq App 4.0.9 and iOS 11.0.2 on an iPhone 8.

Got two Together notifications, read them, cleared them from notification drawer, still have the notification bubble.

Yep same, still two notifications I cannot get rid of...

                                Worked fine until yesterday.

Successfully updated my Netflix Account with the Bunq Card. No entry under events but an entry under card->recurring payments. Since then the red bubble stays at 1.

                                  8 months later

Same problem also for me. Latest newest stable iOS version

                                    8 days later

I have to actively move from and to the “events” tab to remove bubbles. Annoying
