@yllwfsh#49059 Same here :/
Here is the link to the promotion https://together.bunq.com/d/5497-apple-pay-promo
@Ota#49062 Thanks! But I didn’t receive any 10 euro. I'll ask support.
🇬🇧 According to support anyone who activated Apple Pay in Germany the official way (not via Italian or Spain workaround) on or after 11th december 2018 should qualify for this promo but they said it could take up to a week to get it.
@herzkerl#49075 Ja. Also so habe ich das verstanden
Die Aussagen vom Support gehen wieder mal auseinander
@Manchmaldersimon#49058 Ich auch nicht
@herzkerl#49075 Ich habe leider nichts bekommen.
@Sebastian-Purple-Dragon#49003 Hi Sebastiaan! The Apple Pay promotion of €10 upon your first payment was launched on December 12th.
To know if you're eligible for the promotion just check the "Events" section in your bunq app, you should have received a push notification with an invitation to enable Apple Pay and get €10 on your first payment. 😊
Unfortunately we had an obligation to launch the promotion at least one day after the official launch. 🙏
@Dada#49369 Firstly, do you have any idea how this feels to some customers? I joined bunq quite a while ago and finally transferred all my banking to bunq about a month ago after your initial announcement of Apple Pay. I also had my partner join this amazing bank because he wanted Apple Pay as well. Of course when Apple Pay was finally released here in Germany we immediately activated it the same morning and were really happy. We even found excuses to run to the shop to try it out. Isn't that indicative of being an enthusiastic and loyal customer? Now we find out that bunq has this ill conceived promo for some customers to have them activate Apple pay. Speculation: probably also to get 'Free' users on the Premium plan?
Secondly: Where are the exact terms and conditions for this promo? If you read the knowledge article (https://together.bunq.com/d/5497-apple-pay-promo) it only states:
"Shortly after you make your first payment using Apple Pay, you’ll receive €10 in your bunq account.
Be aware that this is only for users in France or Germany who newly activate Apple Pay."
That makes me believe that anyone that newly activates Apple Pay in Germany should qualify for this promo. Something that was also (wrongly?) confirmed to me by support. (Sidenote: If that's wrong then I don't appreciate being misled by the support team which we should be able to trust to always give us accurate information)
Lastly: It leaves me with mixed feelings. On one hand I really love the freedom bunq gives me doing my banking the way I like it. On the other these unfair and unclear promotions are really frustrating and don't leave me with a nice feeling about being a customer at bunq. A feeling I apparently share with some others on this forum...
@yllwfsh#49444 Renzo thanks for your message and I believe you're totally right on the unclarity in our Together Topic. I will make sure it gets promptly updated. 🙏
We would have loved launching the promotion on the first day of Apple Pay, but this wasn't possible as any promotional activity for Apple Pay needs to be coordinated with Apple, especially for a new market launch like Germany.
@Dada#49450 Does that mean that also impatient bunqers like me who activated Apple Pay 07:30 on Tuesday will also get the promo 10€?
@yllwfsh#49444 Renzo, you are so right, totally agree. My situation is almost the same. I have bad feelings of frustration despite the very good performance and loved features of bunq. The promo seems to be unfair. And unfairness it the last I expected from bunq.
