• Easy copying of IBAN and BIC of an account

When you press and hold the IBAN in the overview of one account it automatically get's copied. But when you just click on it to see the IBAN + BIC details like this:

You can only click on "share" to share both IBAN + BIC. If you just want to copy and paste the IBAN + BIC for e.g. a form on the web, it is a bit annoying because you need to manually type in the BIC as you are only able to copy the IBAN with a long click.

So it would be cool if you could make the IBAN and BIC copyable with a long click in this new details window as well, not just the IBAN in the account overview.

.. it is simple, but easy to implement and it wouldn't need any new button :)

Nice idea Johannes! Let's see what others think! πŸ™Œ

@johannes#49785 Really? I typed the BIC for three times and I had it remembered forever.
Bankname: BUNQ Country: NL and 2A - if you like (or if needed) add some sexiness ending XXX that’s it!
The only variable to remember is 2A, I donβ€˜t need a shortcut, but that’s just my 2ct.

@SimonM#49791 Yes, really. It's easy to implement, you don't need to add an extra button and honestly it is standard to have something like this, sometimes you can even mark/select the text and copy it then..

@SimonM#49791 .. and if you needed the BIC the first time it's definitely easier to just press and hold -> paste it, instead of remembering it ...

On the other hand, everything what could be needed as copy, should be copyable.
            So hands up πŸ™Œ

@johannes#49785 Have you tried just tapping the IBAN or the BIC? You get a share sheet where you can the among other things just copy the value in question to the clipboard... On iOS at least...

I'm on Android, and I can copy it to the clipboard. Android 8.0. Absolutely no problem. πŸ“‹πŸ™‚

@Tati-Indigo-Unicorn#49870 I can copy the IBAN, yes. But when you clicked on the IBAN to see this details you can't copy the BIC individually. You can click on share to copy both together, but that's not great if you need it for a web form

@johannes#49896 Copy the whole thing (IBAN&BIC) into another field of the Webform, then copy the IBAN and the BIC from there. It's not the solution you wished, but it works.

                      16 days later

I just want to push this up, as I faced the issue today again :( it would be really cool to get this easy improvement into the app :)

@SimonM#49791 the 2A stands for "too advanced"
