  • Static lists for recurring payments

No, not recurring payments like it's built in now. But is there an option to create a list of payments for the monthly fixed expenses?

For instance: rent, internet access, health care, etc. I want to push one button to make these payments. If creating recurring payments still ask you for permission, that ok, but i'd rather just push a button whenever I like to pay all those trolls :)

Isn't that for business accounts only? I couldn't care less about the horrendous XML files that it brings. I'd rather see this as a basic option in the app or as an app or anything :-)

@Kevin-Purple-Bear#54606 You can "Redo" a payment on a 1 by 1 basis, but you can't redo several payments in 1 go.

Can you get the other parties to use direct debit? Then they will submit a direct debit to you and you have 5 days to accept them in the app. That way you don't even have to think about it.

I use direct debits as much as I can (but I also have set them all to be automatically accepted so I don't have to press any button) or just use recurring payments. But for things like you mentioned I don't want to forget any so I don't want to have to remember each month to pay them by hand ;)

BTW, SEPA XML files are not for Business only, you can also use it when you are Premium, see the pricing list: https://www.bunq.com/assets/media/legal/en/20181106_consumers_business_pricing_EN.pdf

Direct debit is something I want to avoid :-)

A SEPA batch file could be a workaround, as the recurring standard costs wouldn't change a lot. Is there a batch generator somewhere which I can use to just fill in the blanks? And do I just put that XML on my phone and bunq will recognize it as a batchfile?

@Kevin-Purple-Bear#54626 Why would you want to avoid direct debit? I can understand when you are used on other banks where the money will "disappear" without much notification, but with bunq you have to actually accept them each time. You only have to do this within 5 days.

Of course, I like to pay my bills on time, so if you are a habitually late payer then it is maybe not for you.

In another topic someone used this generato: https://www.mobilefish.com/services/sepa_xml/sepa_xml.php
But I think you need to enter a BIC code even when that is not really necessary. I haven't used this myself, so you have to try yourself :)

I like to take the time to do my payments and be sure that everything is correct instead of being 'harassed' that "it needs to be done" ;-)

I'll take a look at the generator, thanks

On a side-note: it still would be an awesome feature to have this built in in the app. This way you can alter the amount for one time in the app if it's necessary, without editing a file on your phone...

@Kevin-Purple-Bear#54632 But if you like to take the time to do it, then it would be no problem to push 10 buttons for each payment separately instead of 1 for all :p
