  • Change the requested amount of money

Could you please make it possible to let people I sended a request, change the amount I requested?
For example;
I request €50 from Jantje.
Now Jantje can pay the request of €50 or let him change it to €52 (higher or lower).

If you add the function, also add an checkbox to it, so that we can decide if the requested person can change the amount or not.

🤞

    @Bastiaan#54842 Thanks for the tip! But I think it would be a lot easier to do it like the way I posted.
    Till then I will use your way!😉

      @Siljan-Purple-Eagle#54829 I actually prefer it the way it is. I know that amounts can’t be changed now, so when I receive a payment I know that that particular amount is on its way. When the person could change it I’d need to doublecheck what amount was paid and if that were correct. Extra checkboxes I’d avoid whereever possible as they can complicate an interface quickly (maybe not this single checkbox, but if we add one for this feature, then why not for another, and all of a sudden there are plenty checkboxes...)

      I’d prefer to keep using my bunq.me link for flexible amounts (people can enter it themselves or have it prefilled by me).

      Just my 2 cents. 😁✌️

        @Siljan-Purple-Eagle#54829 That would add a lot of unintended consequences. What happens if you share the request with more than one person. Can everyone change the pricing, what happens if you request 50 and person A pays 48, should the request be considered fulfilled or not etc.

          @Sander#54861 At ING Bank you’re able to mark your request as changeable beforehand or make a blank request. That would be the best of both worlds for bunq.

          I don’t even think the ING interface is complicated because of one checkbox for requests.

            @Siljan-Purple-Eagle#54829 If you want people themselves to enter the amount you can use the bunq.me/your-name link where they have to fill in the amount before they can pay at all. Isn't that simple enough?

              @GV#54868 One checkbox is no problem. Drawing a line as to what deserves a dedicated option / checkbox is. bunq is really focused on simplifying the interface lately, and to me this doesn't seem to align with that.

                @GV#54868 Thats exactly what I mean!
