• Cannot transfer money into Bunq, SWIFT code not recognized

I have been trying to transfer money from a UK bank (Standard Bank, IOM) but they are failing to recognize the BUNQ Swift code(BUNQNL2AXXX). I saw this issue before but the solution proposed has not worked for me. Has anyone done this successfully? I have not had problems in the past with transfers from Standard Bank account and I am new to Bunq.

      I would suggest trying BUNQNL2A , this should work if the additional X's don't work. Some banks use the 8 digit format and others the 11 digit. Please keep in mind to do a transfer in EURO as it is the only currency bunq accepts for incoming transfers.

      Also, if possible, a SEPA transfers saves you money if your standard bank supports that. Because bunq asks either 5 or 10 EURO for processing incoming SWIFT payments.

        Thanks - yes, I have been trying to make the payment in Euros and I have tried the Swift code without the XXX and it still has it worked. Let me look into SEPA
