The message is that the card isn’t right for the machine. Thuis only happens at ING and with 2 different cards/accounts.

@Margaretha-Blue-Butterfly#55565 Do you get the message on the ATM or in the bunq app? I never heard of such a message (besides when you put the card in the wrong way or a library card or somethign like that).
If you're sure you enter the card correctly and you can still use the card somewhere else (so your card is still working and not broken) you should call the telephone number on the ATM for more assistance.
Sometimes I get the message in the machine before I can typ my password. And other times I receive a message in the app, like today 3 times
Card is not broken i can use it in stores just not at the atm
And at what ING does this happen?
ING Nederland
ING Belgium
ING DiBa Deutschland
At all ATM’s from ING or a specific one?
@Margaretha-Blue-Butterfly#55587 If you get a message before you can enter your pin that means the ATM can't read your card an that either you inster the card the wrong way around or the card or ATM could be broken.
That you get a message in the app that your card isn't right is wierd. That means the ATM can read your card, knows it needs to contact bunq and then gives an error to bunq that your card is not right. Or do you get another message in the app?
Today it happend at 3 different atm of ING.
In the app I only get this
@Margaretha-Blue-Butterfly#55596
@Margaretha-Blue-Butterfly#55596 What if you try an amount of €250 or less?
@Arthur#55599 I cannot try this within a few hours, but a few months ago amounts more then €300 were never a problem
@Margaretha-Blue-Butterfly#55597 Right, so the app doesn;t say your card isn't right but only says the transaction failed.
Did you already make another cash withdrawal today? There's a 500 euro limit per card per day. This limit is set by bunq and you can't change it. In the past you'd get a message about the limit in that case, but perhaps that has changed.
Perhaps it's better if you ask bunq support, they should be able to tell you more about the cause why it was refused. You can find them here: https://go.bunq.com/link/support
I've got the feeling we're playing a guessing game here. I'd like to know what was the problem anyway :)
Most ATM's in NL has limited guest use at €250,-. Maybe thats the problem?
@Polderdijk#55641 That’s why I asked her to try € 250 or less.
