Drag-and-drop to transfer money between accounts

I would love to be able to mI’ve money from one account to another by just dragging and dropping from one to the other and then selecting the amount. That would feel much more intuitive than the current workflow.

Andreas Seems like a great idea, but how would you still be able to easily rearrange the accounts? That's what is currently done when you drag an account.

Or if you do a transaction from the wrong account, you drag 'n drop it to the right account to correct your mistake :-)

Jeroen 🏳️‍🌈 Well I think it happens more often that you move money between accounts than rearrange them and therefore should be prioritized.

So I think rearranging should be moved to the menu, where you can select the accounts considered for the total displayed.

Jeroen 🏳️‍🌈 And the whole dragging money from one account to another might work if you only have a couple of accounts but as soon as you have multiple accounts and need to scroll through your list it’s not very intuitive anymore.

Andreas I pay a lot between my accounts, but mostly those are scheduled payments. Nevertheless I do manual payments still.

As it is now, dragging in the account overview is either slow or too fast. So when I time it I can actually make a payment as it works now faster than when I have to drag an account from the bottom to the top. Of course when two accounts are right next to each other than it's faster to drag.

So I'm still a bit on the fence if dragging and dropping would be easier.

Perhaps something else like swiping an account (just like you can swipe an event) and then reveal an option for "pay another of your own accounts" so you only need to enter the amount and choose the other account.

Heda Well what about introducing a second column for the account list? Currently there is plenty of space on the right.

Andreas On smaller devices there's not necessarily a lot of space left.

Andreas This might work on the real big phones like the iPhone XS or XR but people with older/smaller devices will have problems then. On my old iPhone SE there isn’t really any space on the right. And i think it would look to „crowded“ even in bigger phones if bunq ever did that.

Maybe the currently available „...“ button on top of the account list, that currently only allows you to select which accounts should be shown in the overall available amount of money could be used to rearrange the accounts. What I mean is, as soon as the button is pressed, some „move handles“ are displayed at the far right end of every account which could be used to reorder them. And then dragging and dropping money would be possible when the „...“ button is not pressed and the accounts are not in reorder mode
