I love the freedom of choice function but am somewhat disappointed that uses can choose to invest in non-green companies. Even more so because @Ali mentioned on stage that legacy banks invest in things like Alaska pipelines and other nasty stuff. Why even give the option to choose for non-green companies? In addition, I don't understand why this option is enabled by default. As many users won't even know that they can make a choice, they will therefore fund non-green initiatives. Maybe at least make an event at the top of the events screen asking users to make a choice?

Auch über eine Querfinanzierung möchte ich nicht an Waffen, Umweltzerstörung, Nahrungsmittelspekulationen, Ausbeutung der Gesellschaft und Einzelner beteiligt sein.

Got a new email from Bunq telling me to “ check the new massinterest option “ what they don’t say is that the option is activated!! So non courious people will just say “ don’t want to do anything with my money just keep it like before so I don’t need to check this ( the logical thing to think )”. And in fact invest in war stuff is activated for them.

Finde ich sehr interessant, wie sich manche hier echauffieren, dass Bunq standardmäßig mit unserem Geld arbeiten darf.
Man kann es mit ein paar wenigen Schritten anpassen. Wer das nicht liest sollte vllt grundsätzlich nicht am Kapitalmarkt teilnehmen und besser sein Geld in die Matratze stecken.
Nur weil Dinge zugänglich gestaltet werden, ist es trotzdem obligatorisch sich etwas mit dem Bankensystem zu beschäftigen wie man sein Geld parken will.

@Falco-Cyan-Swan#68496 Und ein „grünes“ Unternehmen ist automatisch ok? Eine zeitlang war BP der größte Hersteller von Solarmodulen. Grün heißt nicht gut. Grün heißt nur gegen den Trend. Eine Solarzelle kommt genauso aus China wie die Levi’s Jeans.
