@763#63888 On Android this is not true if you have the app on the bottom row (which is the same on each screen). Also you can turn off the icon names (depending on which launcher you use I think).

@Natalie-Maroon-Starfish#63153 I'm Dutch and have been using bunq for about half a year. So how about you, BTW?

I'll probably repeat things others have said (and probably better than me). I'm using Android. Also I might sometimes complain about (lacking) functionality, I'll try to minimise this. At least, I'm guessing you only want design questions and not purely functional. But I think a lot of the missing functionality things are tied in with the desing of the process or pages that are used.

About the app: I don't like the new round buttons on top in the Accounts view for Scan, Request and Pay. If you go into an account the buttons for Request and pay are square. I like those better and it's wierd both look quite different even though they do the same thing. Also why can't I start "scan" when I'm in a specific account?

When you scroll down the text below the three round buttons disappear. Why? If the text is not important than don't show it at all. But I would like it better if the text was always there.

In the Events view the last button is called "Accepted", but if you click on it you get the text "Recurring payments". Don't mix and match different texts for the same view.

A lot of text in the Events view is the same "Card payment", "payment received", "payment sent". I don't care for that description at all. The amount already tells me that I got money or I payed money. I'd rather have something usefull there like the description of the payment, notes I added myself or whatever else actually adds information.

I don't like that most events have there own nice icon but that there are still a lot of generic grey ones. It gives a half finished look and feel.

In the event overview searching is done with the big yellow button with the search glass icon. In an account you have to click on a grey search glass icon somewhere hidden in the corner. Why is this not the same yellow button? The Together menu has yet another different way to search.

Why can't I search for scheduled payments in an account at all but I have to do this from the even overview?

I don't like that some things are hidden behind swiping left. That might be a thing from Apple, but I find it discouraging that I'm supposedly have to swipe all over the place to find things. For example when you are paying and you are selecting an recipient then you can swipe left to delete them. Why is this so hidden? This is also tied to a lack of proper address book functionality, I guess.

When you are going to pay there is a seemingly endless list of "pages" you have to go through where a lot of those page only ask you about 1 thing. I feel this could all be on the same page. Now you have to follow exactly the order which bunq has decided is best for you. Then there are important things like a payment description that don't have there own page and are almost hidden on the last page (ok, it's a bit better now, but it was even worse before).

When you scan an invoice you get all the information on 1 page. This page looks completely different from the normal pay screen. Why not use the same payment screen without all the questions and with the scanned text and amounts filled in? There is also a difference in functionality. For example you can't schedule a scanned payment in the future like you can with a normal payment.

When you scan an invoice why isn't there an option to add the scan as a note to the transaction, and this seems like a really simple thing you woudl actually want to do.

Why can't you enter a transaction note on the payment when you create one and have to wait untill the payment was actually done before you can add this? With payments in the future this is a real pain because you have to remember it instead of just typing it in when you are making the payment.

A lot of questions on together are faq's. If you casually glance at together you don't see this because those topics all get hidden by the moderators. I can understand not wanting to overwhelm actual bunq support, but I think the Private Matters is way to hidden in the app.
There should be a simple page with the faq's instead of a page with two featured topics and some statistics and a big blue plus that people use to open yet another "when do I get my money" or "How can I cancel my account" topic. This link was great: https://together.bunq.com/t/faq but recently some less polished topics are put there (and there are now even two on limits).

About the website: I don't really care for the website, I don't like long pages to scroll through with little information. If you do want information you have to hunt for things like the PDF's with the legal texts.
The thing I used the most is together because it has way more functionality and ease of use than together in the app.

Ads: I think I only say the ad with the half naked woman (this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zjr4SlRBCdg ). I don't really like those kind of ads where a semi-naked lady is used to sell stuff. It's the same on the website though. There are a handfull of pictures of women on the main page. Not all, but a lot wear few clothes. Sort of OK if you want to sell a vacation to a sunny place, but why for a bank. Perhaps not the intention, but most pictures feels like a 16 year old straight insecure guy's fantasy. Of course, I'm a middle aged gay guy so I vote for more half naked boys! Oh wait, no, no, no, that's not what I meant! Honest!
But all kidding aside, I think I'd like a more professional feel. All the pictures on the website don't need to turn into a balding man in a suit but there has to be something in between.

@Justin-Turquoise-Bear#63435 Instead of default images, maybe allow an emoji to be picked. They cover a lot of use cases.

So options for account icons could be one of these:
      - upload image / select photo
      - select color
      - select color and emoji

No more searching for matching images ๐ŸŽ‰

The bunq App on IOS is in my opinion nearly perfect, thumps up for that ๐Ÿ‘ great colors, great structure ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ
        But...
I would love to see at each account and card a counter for a month how much I spent on this account or card.
Because with this I could easily check how much money I spent on my seperate account for food for one month. This would be so damn great guys, please let me know if this gets on the whishlist and if some other bunqers would like it โค๏ธ
Hope to hear from you ๐Ÿ‘‚ ๐Ÿ‘€

@glkx1991#63411 You can quickly switch between accounts with force touch on the Profile icon in the bottom bar. Canโ€™t imagine a faster way to switch ๐Ÿ˜Š

@WJanson#63902 So Apple should hurry up and add Safari, App Store and Music to their icons. Otherwise people might forget what they put in their dock, right? ๐Ÿคฏ

@763#64230 As a non-iOS user though: I can understand the music icon. I happen to know the Safari icon but I wouldn't have guessed that the A icon was the App store. Also because I wouldn't have thought that anyone would put an app store in their most used app list. I only use an app store when I want something new on my phone which is hardly ever.

@Reuel#64226 That is a neat feature, thanks!

Although it can be made easier on first login and switching prompts a new login request :/ The ING app for example you can switch between accounts without extra PIN/Touch-ID prompts.

@glkx1991#64275 Probably has something to do with your settings or youโ€™re using multiple devices? I donโ€™t get asked for Touch ID when switching (only sometimes).

                    • When using Apple Pay, it is really hard to distinguish between the cards.
Is there a way to add the name on the card in Apple Wallet? (Next to the number)

                    • Sorting cards in the bunq App could be simpler by using a long touch on the card and then pan.

I'm just throwing it in here, because I think we all know what bunq ๐ŸŒˆ will announce with the next version.

                      I present you all:

Paying with memes, the new bunq ๐ŸŒˆ feature!

Just a different design question for this forum, maybe an option to resize images to make images a little bit smaller (taking so much screen space actually ruins the joke a little bit).

I think non full caps text would work just as well, might even look better and isnโ€™t so in your face.

@WJanson#64524 I think non full caps text would work just as well, might even look better and isnโ€™t so in your face.

Agree! And the color of "ADJUST THE CARD ..." should be black not grey for a better reading.

Hello Nat! I joined Bunq as I travel for pleasure to the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Italy. I know that here in the UK ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง that we have the GBP, and I transfer money via Transferwise to Bunq, it is very quick, easy and efficient. With regards to the app, it is changing on an ongoing basis for the better. There will always be people who will not be happy with things on the app, and Bunq cannot please everyone. With regards to the the colour / design of the app, again no complaints. Apps change for a reason, it's for more features.

                              Hallo.
                              Sorry for my poor English.
I think of woud be nice to see the notition you make without opening the transaction in your overviel?
