Hello,
I just created my BV company in the Netherlands to offer Consulting services. My client (ING) asked me for a company insurance. Do you offer this service at Bunq or do you have a partner? Thanks

    @Garona-B-V-Azure-Leopard#63717 Hi πŸ‘‹,

    First of all a good morning and I wish you all the best with your new company here in the Netherlands!

    bunq doesn't offer any type of insurance products, also not via partners. So unfortunately, you will need to find this yourself. But, maybe some bunqers have some tips for you.

    Have a great day πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

      Thanks for the fast reply. I checked Rabo but you must have your bank account with them to get the insurance. I hope I won’t have to leave Bunq...

        Company insurance is not only available through banks, there are a lot of companies that provide that service. Bijv Centraal Beheer, Unive, Ohra, etc.

          @Garona-B-V-Azure-Leopard#63725 Well you can have multiple bank accounts of course. If the bank demands you have an account with them to be insured, I’d demand from them that it is made available to you for free; just to transfer the costs of the insurance every month. ;)

            @Garona-B-V-Azure-Leopard#63717 When you need a occupational insurance (beroepsaansprakelijkheidsverzekering) it's always better to shop around for the best policies and prices.

            You could try to ask an trade organisation like MKB Nederland or a branch specific organisation. Or visit a insurance broker (verzekeringsadviseur) for more advise.

            A bank that asks you to tale other services together with the insurance is never a good sign, as most banks don't do insurances themselves. ING has Nationale Nederlanden, Rabobank has Interpolis, Knab has Aegon (as Knab is a subsidiary of Aegon) and so fort. Try to contact those companies direct and not via am intermediate bank.
