I have still an Oyster Card at home (empty), but better use my bank card now.

@Loran-Purple-Panda#65471 Daily cap? As the max. amount for a day? Why would I buy a Londen Travalcard for €16 per day?

@JeroenE#65613 nice! very excited to test the future way of paying for public transport next week, got everything set up as well through the 'Oyster and Contactless'-app from TfL so I can keep a travel log. (which is not strictly needed, required or necessary for tourists, but I like it anyway)

Tuesday 26 nov, 08:04 GMT.: Special Update from, Victoria Station, London, UK: Yes I can confirm, Maestro Cards from bunq work with Oyster and Contactless including in combination with Apple Pay, just tapped in with my iPhone for an overgrond train to another part in London without any problems.

@DaveFlash#134008 Hi dave, my question.if i go to london next month will the bunq card will work? master of meastro?
        thanks.

I used the TFL with bunq MasterCard already, works like a charm!

@Wesdelamontagne#140807 yes both of them will i just said so ;_)

@jensb#140868 no just tap and go. no app needed. In busses only tap once. for metro, trains tap in and out

An important note: if you use Apple Pay, you must use the same device for both checking in and out. If for instance you use your watch to check in and your iPhone to check out, then it’s considered as using 2 different cards and you pay twice, with penalties! I had that unpleasant experience with my Bunq Travelcard...

@Tibo#141211 yes. but this is already stated explicitly on both TfL's and Apple's website. In essence each device would have a unique copy of the same card, but with which comes a separation or difference of the tokens such a system as Public Transport cas use to link back to an original touch-in or out, hence you must always use the same card and device combination.
