Those images you set on bank accounts (to keep them apart or just for aesthetics) - can other people see those when they make a payment to you or you make a payment to them?

I don't think so.
When paying my 5,-- EUR to another bunq customer (for bunq pack) or to my partner (f) I could only see the profile pic I set up in my profile (bunq app). The sending account has different pictures (I often use the standard ones in the app).
Actually I am able to see them in some cases. One day I received bunq.me payments from three different bunq customers. When I open up the payment and then click on their profile picture, I can see the bank account picture next to the IBAN. So I would treat these pictures as public.
@LH-Black-Wolf#65836 Yes they are visible for others! I complained about this a long time ago, as bunq doesn't tell you about it when you set an account image
@Heiko-Hartwig#65839 Click on the profile picture and you will see the account image next to the IBAN :)
@johannes#65871 Checked! You're right.
@johannes#65870 Ah, that kind of sucks haha. It’s indeed weird they don’t warn you it “leaks” that image to the public. Does that mean it also shows on payment requests? Means I’ll have to adapt one or two. (No no, not vulgar images or anything :P Just not really fit for an account either)
I think I’d be much nicer if it never leaked those images, they should be private imho or be able to set it as private in privacy settings.
@LH-Black-Wolf#65888 I asked for that months ago but as you can see.. :) I just think this is not so high on bunqs list sadly
I also found it quite counter-intuitive to learn that these pictures were visible to others. An explanatory text when setting a picture would be good to make this clear, something like "the picture you choose here will be visible to other bunq users when sending/receiving from your account".
