Hi, I was wondering if I get a sort code / account number for UK account? As I really need that to receive payment.
Alex Hi Alex, the bunq account is an EURO-SEPA account, so you don't get any sort code / account number. I would suggest to use TransferWise to receive the payment, they are offering "borderless accounts".

Johannes 🇦🇺 Don’t transfer wise use iban also? As I was trying to receive a payment from someone that can only do it the old fashioned way (sort code account number)

Alex The person who is sending you the money could use TransferWise for it :) Then he would get GB banking details from them, and transferwise would do the rest
Alex .. Or Revolut, they do also offer you a GBP account with GBP details.
Frank Revolut is far better for that use case. No fee's, true exchange rate.
