• MassInterest payouts

Dear bunq, where can we view how much interest we earned till we get paid? Also, when do we receive the interest; monthly, yearly?

    Sander changed the title to MassInterest payouts.

      @Bram#67331 from the Terms and Conditions;

      The interest we provide to you is calculated at the end of each day, based on the balance of all your bank accounts within your membership. At the end of each month, we add up these daily amounts and put it on your account during the first week of the next month. For money to be counted in the interest calculation, it must have been in your bank accounts for the entire day. If you have multiple bank accounts in your bunq account, moving money between them will not affect this calculation. If during any of those days your balance is negative, we will settle the negative amount with the positive amounts in our calculations.

        @Bram#67331 HI!

        You get paid interest monthly, because we think you should get your money as soon as possible :).

        The first interest payment will happen at the start of April πŸ’ͺ.

        Cheers
        Tom

          Have you tried? @Paul

            So if i want to avoid receiving any interest, i have to cancel my bunq account before 28FEB, correct?

              @Lime-Llama#67438 No you can not. But let's keep these two topics separated please and discuss the opting out in the topic you mentioned. πŸ™‚πŸ‘

                @Sander#67338 Are the interests paid on every single account or with a collecting booking on the main account?

                  @Aleksandr-Blue-Badger#67539 Before april

                    @Heiko-Hartwig#67678 Or let it be a β€˜free’ choice on which account the interest will be paid.

                      @Hunter#67682 I can see an account like "interests payout" in your account list.

                        I think it will be either be payed out to the account that is used for the bunq subscription itself or to all accounts(with there share)

                          @Wasdroger#67446 Huh wat?

                            Is the 0.27% interest calculated per year or per month?

                              @Tonnie-Turquoise-Butterfly#67782 Per year, but paid out monthly.
