Let us change the Interest Payout Account

Hey bunqers!

Finally I know which account will be used for interest payouts, it's the billing account.
With 25 bank accounts and 3 physical and 5 virtual cards I really think bunq nails budgeting! I really love it, but please let me change the interest payout account.
I, for example, have an dedicated account for my regular debits and this is also my billing account, I don't need or want my interests to get there. Why can't I choose a savings goal for it or just any other account?
Right now I'm forced to manually forward my interests, every month. Not so great for a bank with 25 accounts, with such an awesome system for direct debits and cards you can link to different accounts in a sec.

So please bunq, let me change the account for getting my interests! I love bunq's budgeting and this one would improve it even more.

You may add this option to "my membership" or to "my money" or if you click on your first interests payout as an option there.

Johannes 🇦🇺 Oh and I read that you get the interest monthly.. if I can't choose the account I would be forced to manually transfer it to a different account every month.. not so convenient

I guess it will be paid to each account you have. So if you have 3 accounts where you'll get interests, it will be paid on these.

Heiko Hartwig So I asked and got finally an answer: The payout account is the billing account, I don't really like this. So I changed this post a bit, so it's now an idea for letting use choose the account :)

Johannes 🇦🇺 How is it at bunq packs? Will only the owner get all interests if the billing account is the payout account?

At least it is a single account. I would like to have it paid on a different account than the billing account that I pay bunq with, though. (If there's no way around receiving it.)

Jakob That's the idea here :) Let us change this account, I for example want my interests automatically transferred to a savings goal :)

I need this too. I have a dedicated account for billing, which I share with the members of my bunq Pack via Connect, so they can add the monthly costs to that account.

Adriaan They can add money but they can as well withdraw money. Is that clever?

I don't want the interest paid to that account as well as my members pay their amount to that account. I don't want these payments and my interests mixed here.

Heiko Hartwig 👍 I hope they may implement this before the first interests are coming :/ I think, if they don't there will be many people suddenly asking for this when they noticed that.

Sebastian Hi 👋🏼 Sebastian, well also Packers have setup an billing account. For instance, a Packer gets his own invoice if he uses extra services like ordering a extra card 💳.

So, echt Packer will receive his share of the interest. It is also calculated for each Packer individually, but with a €2500 limit instead of €10.000.. (Which is a strange rule to begin with)

Another upvote for this idea...

Being graced with a slight OCD, I use the auto-save feature to keep the balances on all of my accounts on whole euros. The interest will obviously not be in whole euros, so that ruins my setup...

Want to put it on my savings goal too!

It seems I cannot just forward the payment to another account either. Swiping the payout entry opens the info screen. At least it would be great if you enable this.

I received my interest as well on my billing account, luckily it was not an round number so I did spotted it on time to transfer to my savings goal.
I’m willing to accept the the choices are limited to the billing account and savings goals, but it would be nice if we have total freedom of choice.
