I would like to transfer money to the Ukraine but is seems like the UA country code is not supported, is that correct and/or will this change in the near future?

@ChainBalance-B-V-Blue-Akita#68268 It seems Ukraine is not part of the SEPA region, so it's not possible to send money directly from bunq. See https://www.ecb.europa.eu/paym/retpaym/paymint/sepa/html/index.en.html
You could try using a service like TransferWise.
Hi Peter, I was under the impression Bunq is using TransferWise or is that usage limited to the SEPA countries?

@Petervdv#68272 Ah yes, maybe I assumed you already tried this route, my mistake. I see indeed that you can select ukraine in the bunq app when you click on the euro symbol during a payment. And then you have to fill in the recipient's phone number en 4 digits of a UAH PrivatBank card. Would that do the trick?
If that doesn't work then I'm not sure how to proceed, I would advice to contact bunq private support. :)

Could it be that you are trying to send euro's to a non-euro account? Have you selected the right currency in the TransferWise flow?

I don't believe banks are able to tell if you're sending to a non-EUR account or not. They just wouldn't know which currency the account at the receiving bank is held in. Other than "guessing" that it's the destination country's official currency - which does not have to be the case.
And it's usually not a problem. The receiving bank would just convert the amount to the account currency (at whichever rate they're applying, usually worse than TransferWise). I think bunq is probably the exception to that, insofar as they are "bouncing" non-EUR incoming transfers.
