  • EPC QR code for payment requests

I really enjoy being able to send payment requests via bunq. That IDEAL is also preset for German customers is, of course, annoying. But even SOFORT is not always popular in Germany. It is a pity, but understandable, that bunq would not like to offer PayPal and credit cards for cost reasons.

Would it not be a good idea to include an EPC QR code in bunq payment request for "offering" paying via SEPA transfer? Many German banks now offer invoice scans via app. And I suspect that more and more often - like bunq today - they can read EPC QR codes, especially since in Switzerland (where nobody likes direct debits) in 2020 will probably become standard.

This would help a lot to ask for payments from my unbunqy friends.

    If I am correct this is already implemented. Or is this not the same as the sepa QR codes?

      @noahlvb#69686 He's talking about showing this kind of code on the payment request page and on bunq.me, not the ability to scan them in the bunq app.
