  • Show Balance After Each Transaction

Is it possible to add the balance after transaction to the transaction details? Sometimes I want to see what the balance of an account was after a certain transaction and currently it's not possible to see this.

Hey Sander, currently we do not have such a feature! But you can always put it on the Wishlist and we will inform you in the future! 📜

Did you really put it on the wishlist? Cannot find it

        Hey Hubertos!

Together is our new wishlist! I have amended it for you!

        Have a great day!

Would be great to see the balance after a transaction in the past

Isn't that exactly what the topic starter wants as well?

Bump. Would make business accounting much simpler.

I don't think bunq works that way. Let me explain why, and I don't think it would be possible for them to show any other balance than the current one.

I keep track of my saldo on my business account obviously. A while ago the saldo was off with almost €100 and I couldn't match any transaction that would be the cause is it. The numbers just didn't add up. Then I found that an eBay transaction from 3 months earlier had been reverted in my favour, for unknown and irrelevant reasons. However, this showed up nowhere in the recent transactions. I only saw it by chance in the cancelled eBay transaction from months earlier.

Now, imagine showing the saldo after a transaction in all previous transactions. They would have to update this in every transaction when something like this happen, which kinda defeats the purpose.

@Dennis#28098 That’s true in the account view in the app, e.g. refunded or cancelled transactions may not show up as a separate entry at the top of the events list but as an “update” to the state of the original transaction potentially way down the list.

However, in an exported e.g. PDF statement, everything does show up as a separate entry, including refunds etc, in chronological order, so it should certainly be possible to add a “balance after transaction” column there.

@jon#28100 Ah that's good to know. I didn't actually realize that. Yeah, the event overview is a little too use friendly to be used as the only reference for bookkeeping. I'd definitely prefer to see my transactions in a chronological order for that. Exports is the answer then.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention 🤯🌈

Is there any progress on this by development?

@Sven-Magenta-Wolf-2549297928#34303 Bunq never tells about possibly coming features, they like to surprise us. So asking for updates is not effective so let's wait and see :).

                          Tim unlocked the discussion.

Great idea! I requested the same so can only fully support this one!

i want that too!! Exactly like rabobank does!! Missing this feature!

Not a solution for everyone but you get the info with every API call. So if you need it and you're technically handy, you could build something :)
