Today I want to bring up an idea for the IBAN input field, which you can see when you start a new payment and click on enter IBAN:
Wouldn't it be great if the IBAN field would adopt to the country-code you typed in? It currently does this already with NL-IBANs:
.. but not with any other IBAN. At least the "greyed background example text" could be adopt to the country and the individual fields.
For Example, here in Austria an IBAN always has 20 digits. So why can't the field look like this:
and in Germany an IBAN always has 22 digits, so why can't the field look like this:
(In Germany the 5th to the 12th digits are always the bank identifier, so this could also be one field and not two)
.. and that just for at least every bunq country.
It's a very small detail, but the current input field looks really bad with sometimes letters in the background, although for some countries there aren't even letters in the IBAN.
.. and later it could get even more intelligent with suggestions like you get with the NL-IBAN bank field.
