• Does not work: scanning invoices in german language

I like bunq in cause of their high quality standards in the things they do. It just works. But there is one thing that does not work at all: scanning invoices in german language. Imho I think its a language problem? Does it work with other languages?

Please support other languages when scanning documents like invoices. This feature is the only point where the old banks are ahead with their apps.

I agree. Tried it 3 times now and it just didn’t work. Did not detect IBAN , reference number or name

      Raul added the tags.

I did try it out and for me it worked good. The best thing; I did not need to enter an IBAN that was not good formatted (no blanks after each 4 digits).

        That was 2 weeks ago.

          Works sporadically.
I've given up on scanning invoices.

@Robert-Silver-Turtle-4265395482#72438 yup, invoice scanning still feels like a beta feature right now, in my case i have a shave subscription service whenever I scan that invoice it puts the products "worth" price in the field, not the actual price after the member discount.

Most german banks use therefore the service of https://gini.net (DKB, comdirect, ING, Hypo, Consors, Sparda, Apo, Kreissparkasse, Deutsche Bank, Bank Austria...).

Idea: bunq cooperates with Gini for the best user experience.

@ollo#73154 Ging does indeed work great!

@ollo#73154 I've tried scanning invoices with the DKB app a few times and it works phenomenally good.

                    5 years later

Unfortunately, bunq app is pretty hopeless with german invoices, have to confirm.

                      a year later

Still doesnt work - hard to believe. Apologies for crossposting, but am properly frustrated with this bug. Hard to believe this feature ever passed QA. Even had a ticket opened and supplied a sample invoice a year ago ... nothing.
