  • IDEA: Insight into personal spending

Hi all,

I couldn't immediately find it, but I would like to propose a new tab in the Bunq app that would allow users to gain more insight into their monthly spending habits. There are already a few spending apps in the app store that keep tabs on income and spending (huishoudboekjes, in Dutch), but I would like it to integrate with Bunq in order for the app to automatically categorise certain payments or receivables.

Please let me know if this is something you would like as well and also let me know if this has already been discussed elsewhere so I can upvote this.

Best,

Gerben

This would be great! Some other services are already providing this and it really helps keeping things under control.

I really like this idea πŸ’‘
bunq always had been about simplicity combined with powerful features πŸ’ͺ And being able to get an easy high-level overview of your financial situation with the help of some data-driven insight would be awesome. I know bunq could find a way to keep it simple while powerful.

But I don't know if a separate tab is the best idea, it will become too crowded in the tab bar. Unless an existent tab would go away, and I like the layout like it is now.

I'd like to take this opportunity to plug a concept by @Wessel, he made an awesome looking mock-up for some graphs, in the Design suggestions #2 topic, that could give you some more insight about your monetary account πŸ“ˆ. The challenge for bunq however would be to implement this in an easy and straightforward way when users have a great amount of different accounts.

I would like to see an insight section in a future version of the bunq app, and I think it is an excellent addition. One of the great features for #Update11 maybe? An one stop shop, for insight into your finances. Preferably also with an overview of expenses per category and merchants etc.

        @WJanson#72581 Stunning design!

I would prefer a weekly report instead of daily, but is looks stunning.

Ik vind het overzicht van Revolut erg prettig

Would love to see this feature. Was looking for something where I can see recurring payments like subscriptions and memberships.
Something like the iOS app Bobby but than Integrated into the bunq app.

@nishan-me#76181 Thanks! Grip looks just what I needed and works great with bunq.

I would absolutely love this feature as well, so upvoted πŸ‘†πŸΎπŸ€šπŸΎ

Mits dit goed wordt uitgevoerd lijkt mij dit een hele gave toevoeging! Immers ben ik overgestapt naar bunq vanwege de features die budgetteren makkelijker maken!

@nishan-me#76181 Zal grip eens proberen!

                        Related to 'planned payments' post.
I would be happy if I could easily add 'monthly payments/incomes'. Which could be shown in lightgrey for the current month and subtracted(/added) so you can see how money will be left at the end of the month.
