  • Shopify payment gateway

Hi Guy's,

I was wondering if it would be possible to add Bunq to shopify's payment gateway list. This way we can accept payments from our webshop customers directly instead of trough on of the listed gateways. Cut out the middle man so to say, and save a fen bucks of course 😉.

Having this would surely justify moving to the payed business account.

    Hi there! Was wondering if this convo ever had a follow up? Setting up a webshop right now and would be nice to have Bunq take care of it instead of Mollie. Let me know!

      This would be great. I'm looking for this as well. I rather have iDEAL directly using the Bunq API than get another third party involved.


      Seems to me that Bunq will have to do this for us. I doubt that Shopify will accept everyone with a Bunq business account to develop their own integration. There's also a form where you need to request access to the hosted payment SDK:


      Doesn't Shopify charge you anyways if you use a third party payment method?

        I think they do. But at least it would shave off the current payment provider's fee ;)
