  • Lack of passcode for the Bunq app

My only issue with the Bunq app (so far at least) is the lack of security offered by the app. The rest of the Dutch banks have passcodes for their apps and some like ABN Amro,SNS etc have extra security measures like the Digipass.
Hopefully they will add it to the app in the near future

    Hi 👋 @Angie#75097

    There is a login code for the app. It may also be unlocked with fingerprints or face scans. You can set the time interval for automatic locking of the app under profile > security & settings.

      @Angie#75097 You can have a login code for the app. I think you actually need to have one. If you use biometrics to enter the app sometimes you still need to enter the login code.

      So I'm not sure why you think there isn't any?!

        @JeroenE#75101 A login code is a different than having an actual passcode every time you open the app.
        The login code serves if you for example want to use your Bunq account from a different account. A passcode is for every time you decide to open the app

          @Angie#75102 For bunq this is the same code. You can set up in your profile how often the code should be asked for. If you set it on 0 you have to enter it each time you enter the app.

            @JeroenE#75105 Oh thanks found it. Much better like is

              Is it "profile-->settings-->security-->Auto Logout (time)"?
