  • Whoopsss, it seems like this issue is coming again :(
When I open up the insights tab, I see a payment under the general category, when I open up this payment and change the category, it will not change in the insights tab.

I see the payment category is updating but not in the insights tab...

    • @bunqVitaly#275860 is this still a bug? I guess it worked fine till a couple of days ago, I can update the payment but it is not shown correct in the insights tab, and also it took the money from the wrong accounts due to this mapping issue

      • Safety is important but why a contra account is safer than the current safety systems? I fully trust Bunq with their current system and I am not worried about my savings.

Todays technology is able to protect you in the right way

        • I have got this issue too, ordered the card when phone was in English and now I receive the English commands at the payment terminal when my language is Dutch and my phone is in Dutch as well. Is it possible to change this or not?

          • @inkyspoon#278829 did you receive an answer on this? I have the same problem but they told me for a month right now that they are working on a fix. What was your response in this case?

            • It works now, when I change the payment category, it will change in the insights tab on my phone. Thanks Bunq 🚀

              • Maybe this is because it is a new feature, but I can't change the sub-account where Bunq can land the interest and the cashback.
I guess it was possible to change the sub account where Bunq will land the money

                • Hey all,

I want to add something to the feature requests:

                  1. Link transaction details to both persons in shared account
When you are in a shared account and person A select the category of an expense, it should be updated to the other person in the shared account as well.

                  2. When you in a shared account, it would be nice if you could see who made a certain payment.
For example, when person A bought something, you will see (with a picture of that person) who did the payment.
At my previous bank, it was shown with the card number.

                  • Okay thanks for the explanation. But we use auto select for our payments by card so it will use the right sub account. Does this have an effect on the AI system that knows what sub account to use for a certain transaction?

For example when I select an expense at IKEA as a general expense, the AI will take it from sub account A. When my girlfriend marked it as House expenses, it will take it from sub account B.

Is it correct that when I do the next payment at IKEA it will take it from sub account A and when my girlfriend do the payment it will take it from sub account B?

I would like to avoid this so is the only solution then to mark the transaction on both phones as House so it always will be taken from sub account B?

                    • Hey all,

I am using a shared account with my girlfriend, and the transaction shows up in our account when she buys something. When I change the transaction category on my mobile phone, it will change to the one I selected, and it also changes in the insight tab now (Bunq fixed the issue 🚀).

But when I open my girlfriend's mobile phone, I scroll down to the same transaction. It is not changed on her screen.

Is this normal, and how it used to be? Or should it be changed on both accounts when you change it in the shared bank account?

                      Thanks for the clarification :)

                      • @alice-lime-puma#279157 is there an update? With the auto select the right account it is very hard… it select the wrong account constantly and I can’t change anything.

this was the main reason why I chooses Bunq. Considering a switch back to ABN in case this is not fixable soon

                        • @alice-lime-puma#279155 I did report it a week ago. Hopefully, this can be fixed soon! They told me that they will work on it, maybe a fix for the Bunq 23 update :)?

                          • @Jakob-Y#279121 Thanks, Jakob! I did not know that this was the way to go, but it makes sense!

                            • @thijsoost#279120 thanks!

                              • Hello all,

One more question about budgeting. I selected auto budgeting with card payments but my payment at the pizza restaurant was shown as Subscription payment instead of Food and Drinks.

It took the money from the Subscription account and I am not sure how I can change this. When I changed the category, it did not put the money back on the subscription budget and it did not move to the right budget..

How do you handles these things?

                                • The same problem for me; I reported this, and they will work on it.
The funny thing, it looks like it appears with a shared account.

My girlfriend asked me to join the shared account; when she updates a transaction, it will also update in the insights. When I did it for the shared account, the transaction changed but not in the insights tab. Very weird, and I assume that it has something to do with the ''main'' owner of the account, e.q. the organiser of the shared history.

Does this make sense to someone?

                                  • I am new to Bunq and saw something like Autoselect for automatic budgeting. Unfortunately, it was unclear to me if they also provide auto budgeting for automated collections like the energy supplier bill, etc.

In the descriptions, it shows; For example, when you use your card in the cinema, it will auto budget on the entertainment.

Does someone know how it works with automatic collections?
