  • There are 3 Free Cards with Easy Bank Pro. I was already at the limit of those 3 cards when I ordered my Metal card. This Month my invoice was 3,49€ higher than usually, with the "bunq Metal Card" being the source of the invoice.

    If you pay 100€ for a card that card should exist outside the limit of 3 free cards, or it should make it absolutely clear while ordering that you should cancel one of your existing cards as this one will go over the limit.

    There's literally no bonus to the Metal-Card other than the look&feel - the least they could do is exclude it from the card-limit of your plan...

    • @Heiko-Hartwig#297104 I agree - they could've hidden it with making the card 2-colored, or etching a horizontal line into it. Since everything is the same color and that one of the appeals of brushed metal is that it reflects the light in a satisfying way this is more annoying to look at than I had anticipated.

      • Got another Support worker to confirm that it's the intended look.
        I understand that there needs to be a kind of wiring for NFC to work, but this really looks like someone cut out a part and glued it back on afterwards, destroying the smooth looking surface in the process, especially if you hold it against the light.

        • Just got a reply that it's apparently the intended design for the card and necessary for contactless to work...
          Wtf? I've had metal cards from multiple banks over the years and not a single one had something like this and worked fine.

          I really hope it's just a misguided support worker and other people here will find their cards looking normal - if that's really their idea of a premium-looking card then I'm severely disappointed

          • It only has the "Tell us more" and "Close Chat" buttons - and I already told Finn that using my one free replacement is certainly not what I intend to do.

            How does something like this even get through QA? For 100€ I'd expect that they have at least an automated scan if the print and manufacturing worked as intended...

            • When I unpacked my Metal Card there was a crack on the narrow part of the card right next to the chip. Seems to be a production-error that's either systemic or slipped through the Q&A. Are others having the same issue with their card.

              The support (aka Finn) told me to use up my one free card-replacement per year in order to get this fixed...

              • I'd love this - perhaps instead of doing the backup-option on the card it could have an auto-top-up-account associated to an account if that one goes over limit so the groceries-account would automatically gain enough money from another account to cover what's missing.
                Or on a card-level similar to how curve has an "anti embarrassment mode" that can select another card if the current one is declined

                • If only they'd remove the red dot from the wheel if all prizes are gone already

                  it's so annoying to have that thing sitting there all day even when you can't win anything

                  • I'm actually happy with how demotivating this version is.

                    Before I'd open my app in some slightly addictive habit 1 or 2 times each day in order to spin since it only took some seconds. Now that it takes so much longer I quit the spinning completely, which made me realize how silly that behaviour has been before.

                    • You can move money between savings accounts as well - even if you already hit the limit. In combination with the previous post that should give you an option ;)

                      • @New-Jade-Walrus-1266957689#293650 it's one more than the theoretical max score because that's the amount YOU would need to score to overtake whoever is in that position at the moment. That person 'only' has scored the literally perfect score - not 1 more than that

                        • Takes so much longer than the last one. Definitely would prefer to remove it from my main screen

                          • I'd like it if there was an option to add a custom colour and/or icon to currently unsupported loyalty cards. Right now it's pretty impossible to tell the difference between manually added cards as they all are black and don't display the title of the card

                            • Especially with Curve now costing money since even the free plan seems to have a mandatory physical card it's even more urgent.
