This is a great idea. One workaround I'm using on android is when installed some third party QR code app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teacapps.barcodescanner then QR code generation will pop up as one of the options in the sharing bottom sheet. Not sure if something similar is possible on iOS
